These attractive birdhouses are made from native Maine white birch and trimmed with striped maple, more commonly known in these parts as “moose wood”. Each has an easy clean out and a tag with simple instructions.
No birch trees are cut specifically for use in this house. The birch is a by-product of another item. 1 1/4″ holes is just right for wrens, chickadees, and other small to medium size birds. This birdhouse measures 8 inches wide by 9.5 inches high, and 5 inches in depth.
